A one-piece, seamless front cap

The front cap of your motorhome bears the brunt of RV travel. A poorly built front cap can lead to unsightly wear and tear, water intrusion and unwanted time in service bays. Jayco sets the bar high with the only seamless front cap in the industry. By eliminating seams, our cap resists moisture and debris where they hit hardest. Our one-piece, seamless front caps greatly reduce the chances of costly repairs and keep you out of service shops and on the road to your next destination.

How valuable is a more durable front cap to you?

120 Inch Windshield

One of the biggest perks of a Class A motorhome is the amazing view of the open road. Jayco’s Class A windshield is the largest in the industry; the same windshield used in our luxury diesel pushers. Measuring at 120 inches diagonally, this windshield provides improved visibility during travel for both safety and enjoyment. Additionally, over-sized wiper blades are used to keep the view clear, even in the rain.

Safety belts on all seats

Nothing is more important than the safety of the loved ones we travel with. Jayco installs stress-tested seatbelts in every designated seating location to ensure the safety of your entire family. In a Jayco motorhome, you won’t have to put anyone at risk due to limited safety belts. We take safety a step further by providing car seat tethers on all rear-facing dinettes.

Resale Value

Most RV owners will upgrade from their first purchase at some point in their camping lifetime. By using high-quality materials and superior construction techniques, Jayco improves the longevity of its motorhomes, which improves resale value. A less obvious way Jayco increases resale value is by offering an abundance of standard features and very few options. When establishing a trade-in value, motorhomes are valued strictly by their base price only. Any optional equipment added to the base price will not be included in the value. While many of our competitors offer long lists of optional equipment, Jayco builds highly-desired features into our motorhomes as standard features and offers very few options. By doing so, we build a higher resale value into our motorhomes, which leads to a better return on your hard-earned investment.

Solar Capabilities

Solar power is convenient, environmentally friendly and reduces the cost and load of traditional electrical use. Jayco is one of the first manufacturers to offer solar prep or panels on every motorized RV in their product lineup.

Catstrap

Catalytic converter theft has been on the rise and is a costly inconvenience. To protect our customers, Jayco is the only manufacturer to install the Catstrap catalytic converter theft deterrent on all Ford E-450 and F53 chassis. Catstrap, installed along the bottom of the exhaust pipe, contains hidden metals inside a high temperature casing, which makes it extremely difficult to cut with conventional tools. This protection is found exclusively on Jayco motorhomes.

Towing Capabilities

The ability to tow a small trailer or vehicle is one of the top perks of owning a motorhome. It is very important to compare tow rating as you shop, as proclaimed capacities are not always as they seem. Jayco engineers our motorhomes with a tongue capacity at ten percent of our tow capacity – the optimal ratio for towing. In turn, our customers are allowed to tow more than our competitors without the need for a weight distribution kit.

Stronghold VBL™ laminated walls

Our exclusive wall construction process is unlike anything on the market. This vacuum-bonded wall lamination uses a vacuum to combine laminated fiberglass with welded aluminum framing, metal backers, decorative interior wall panels, and fiberglass exterior siding, for a design that is nearly inseparable. Our Stronghold VBL™ design is heavy-duty while remaining lightweight, to provide a high-quality motorhome that will withstand the elements for longer.

How valuable are stronger, more durable walls to you?

Additional brake lighting and back-up camera

We strive to have the safest, best handling and most convenient RVs on the market. As part of this effort, we have added a third brake light and a rear backup camera to all of our motorhomes. We are raising the bar high for the industry regarding safety features. These features allow for feature allows for confident navigation when maneuvering into tight places.

Whether you're using your bunk area as a bonus sleeping space or a spot to store your gear, this space is super convenient in any motorhome. Jayco’s overhead bunk is engineered to hold 750 pounds, 300 pounds more than the industry standard. This impressive weight capacity allows for two adults to comfortably rest and relax in the overhead bunk. On top of that, Jayco offers a 300-pound capacity in each standard bunk.
